CROSSCAP® supports all TWAIN-driver scanners regardless of brand. CROSSCAP® functions without any volume limits, zero click-charges, and allows for multiple scanner operations. Easily switch between two attached scanners in real time (i.e. document and (or) wide format / book scanners to handle complex intermixed batches in real time). Scan single-sheet, batch, multi-stream, or import files and experience the same features and functions of CROSSCAP® for all projects.

CROSSCAP® features document separation via patch-code, barcodes, blank pages, page counters, OCR, or manual operation. Enjoy automatically activated features such as straight backs, hole removal, despeckle (dirt removal) and adjustable blank page detection. Each feature can be customized per-job, for example blank page detection can be set to highlight, display, or automatically delete during export. Indexing can be done in the project, at document level, and even page level via OCR, barcode/patch-code recognition, or by manual input.

Batch Processing and Export

The integrated process manager runs fully independent. the process manager starts also time controlled to finish complex job  work after hours or even during weekends. With the enterprise version, all processes can be started on separate servers to prevent performance losses. It’s possible to even split-up core intensive process work like OCR on separate servers. Parallel export of various formats.  Export directly into DMS systems via API.  Control or start subsequent programs via signal files or direct program execution.  Direct e-mailing available.
